NAFES Announces New President and Board Appointments
The National Association of Food Equipment Suppliers (NAFES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Stoddart, Director at Stoddart, as its new President following the Association’s recent Annual General Meeting. Tony will serve a two-year term, bringing extensive industry experience and leadership to the role.
“I am excited about increasing NAFES’s presence in the foodservice industry, in particular its role in educating and uplifting the knowledge of all industry stakeholders,” said Mr Stoddart.
Supporting Tony in his new role will be Rob Wood, Managing Director of Comcater, who has been elected Vice President.
NAFES also welcomed Terry Randall, Managing Director of FSM, as a new Board member. With a strong background in governance and extensive industry expertise, Terry will be a valuable addition to the association.
The Board and members extend their sincere thanks to outgoing President Michael Brick, whose leadership over the past two years strengthened NAFES’s operations and programs. Michael reflected on the transition in his President’s Report, noting:
“I look forward to the next chapter for our Association as we transition to new President and Vice President roles, and I look forward to the energy and direction that brings.”
As a not-for-profit member-based association, NAFES continues to support food equipment suppliers across Australia and New Zealand. With a focus on Education, Advocacy, and Connection, the Association delivers globally recognised training such as CFSP certification, facilitates industry information sessions, and represents the sector to government and regulatory bodies.
